"Dora" performs impressively for visiting DARPA officials
May 09, 2005 - Visiting DARPA officials displayed smiles and expressed admiration as they evaluated Team Banzai's fully autonomous vehicle, the object-driven Touarge nicknamed "Dora". Team Banzai was one of 118 teams selected from entries from around the world to receive a site visit. "Dora" successfully completed 4 trial runs on a certified 200 meter course, carefullly weaving around randomly placed obstacles and remaining within the narrow boundaries of the serpentine off-road course.
